Techcombank's headquarters buildings at 6 Quang Trung, Hanoi and 23 Le Duan, Ho Chi Minh City have become the first banking offices in Vietnam to receive the LEED Gold certification for environmentally friendly buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is an important standard in construction and architectural design, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) since 1995, to recognize energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve LEED Gold certification, buildings must meet 9 criteria from the USGBC, covering design, construction, interiors, and operations. Accordingly, the Techcombank Headquarters building was rated by the USGBC on a scale of 60-79 points, achieving Gold certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
