Techcombank's headquarters buildings at 6 Quang Trung, Hanoi and 23 Le Duan, Ho Chi Minh City have become the first banking offices in Vietnam to receive the LEED Gold certification for environmentally friendly buildings.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is an important standard in construction and architectural design, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) since 1995, to recognize energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings worldwide.

To achieve LEED Gold certification, buildings must meet 9 criteria from the USGBC, covering design, construction, interiors, and operations. Accordingly, the Techcombank Headquarters building was rated by the USGBC on a scale of 60-79 points, achieving Gold certification.
Designed by world-leading architecture firm Foster + Partners, Techcombank's headquarters at 6 Quang Trung makes a strong impression with its “Future on Heritage” concept, harmoniously blending modern design with intricate patterns that carry the essence of Northern Vietnam's heritage and Hanoi's Old Quarter, while the headquarters at 23 Le Duan, Ho Chi Minh City, embodies the timeless energy of Vietnam's most dynamic economic city.
