From July 1, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City officially implements the merger of administrative boundaries according to Resolution No. 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15. District 3 – an area famous for many historical sites, schools, and major roads – has merged its 12 old wards into 6 new wards.
