Overview of ward mergers in District 4
From July 1, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will officially implement Resolution 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the rearrangement of administrative units at the commune and ward level. Accordingly, District 4 will be merged from 15 wards down to 3 new wards, including: Chieu Village, Khanh Hoi, Vinh Hoi.
This merger streamlines the apparatus and improves state management efficiency. However, it also requires citizens and businesses to update their address information and legal documents to avoid administrative errors.

District 4's administrative map has changed significantly since July 2025. The old ward names have been removed and replaced with signs for new wards: Chieu Village, Khanh Hoi, Vinh Hoi. People and businesses can look up detailed maps through the People's Committee of District 4 Portal or the Galaxy Office system.
